Sundays

Sunday Mornings.

One of the things we value as a church family is being together in community.

Each week it is our practice to meet on a Sunday morning at 10.45am to worship God, to learn from Scripture and to encourage one another in the faith.

These gatherings will usually include songs, prayers, a talk from the Bible, and the opportunity to share communion together. Following the service everyone is very welcome to join us for tea or coffee and time to connect with others.

Our Sunday morning gatherings are a chance for our whole church family from the youngest to the oldest to meet and grow together and we believe it is important and formative for children and young people to be a part of a multi-generational church family. You’ll find more information about our creche, children’s and youth ministry below.

Whether you’re looking for a church to call home or are simply interested in exploring Christianity you are very welcome to join with us at our Sunday morning services.

Have a look for yourself…

What to Expect

  • We start at 10.45am and the service usually finishes around 12 noon - 12.15pm. People tend to arrive from 10.35am onwards.

  • Most people at our services dress casually, so don't feel the need to dress up unless you particularly want to! Come as you are.

  • There is a car park onsite at the church building, including a number of disabled parking bays.

Unfortunately, there are not enough car park spaces for everyone, but there is plenty of on-street parking available in the surrounding area.

We would ask anyone parking in our local area to be mindful of our neighbours and ensure that driveways are left clear and accessible.

  • If you have a little one under 3 years old, we have crèche facilities available each week.

You will find the crèche on your left as you enter the main church foyer.

Bring your little one out to creche when the kids leave for their programme (around 20 minutes into the service) or you can keep them in the service with you if you prefer!

Those helping in creche each week will help if you have any questions.

  • Each week children (Age 3-P7) join their parents in the service for the opening worship (lasting around twenty minutes) before moving over to the church hall for age-appropriate teaching and time to build friendships with each other.

  • Young people (in Y8-Y11) also join with the whole church family for the opening worship (lasting around twenty minutes) before moving upstairs to the lounge for age-appropriate teaching and community. Youth provisions currently meet on the second and fourth Sunday mornings of the month, and we encourage young people to attend services or get involved in serving on other weeks.

  • Each week we spend some time singing our worship to God. You are free to join in or simply listen to the words and music.

Sunday Evening Prayer.

We meet each Sunday evening at 7pm to pray.

This informal gathering lasts around one hour and is usually broken into three shorter times of prayer in groups – often focused around worshipping God and bringing the needs of our church family and the wider world to God.

Young people in Year 11-14 also meet for their youth Lifegroup on the first and third Sunday evenings of the month.
